America crushes the first Florida invasion
What does DeSantis' emasculation mean for Florida? Well, for one, if I were Jennifer Canady, I wouldn't measure the Speaker's Office drapes yet. The court at Versailles is already turning.
Let’s flashback to March 2023, when I wrote this:
I wrote the article above in March, back when vapid, anti-civic billionaires and Peter Schorsch media types were playing hype men for “The Florida Blueprint,” as sold by the cringiest weirdo who ever fancied himself a tiny dictator.
It. holds. up.
My article, that is. Not the DeSantis campaign or “the Florida Blueprint.”
You should go back and read all of that article, if I do say so myself. (And I do.) But here’s the key passage:
The same Florida state “government” of gangsters that destroyed the Florida state education system will invade the United States of America in 2024. Whoever wins this civil war-as-referendum — the gangsters or the country — will control the U.S. Military and federal law enforcement power.
We don’t know who will command Florida’s invasion yet — tiny Emperor Ron DeSantis (with his pseudo VP Jeb Bush) or Florida-ism’s Pope Donald Trump. But it makes no difference. Whoever wins their gross song of ice and fire will then lead Florida’s army of the dead right toward Colorado and Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
Florida’s political and cultural invasion of the country should be laughable. The Florida “blueprint” has made us a hollowed out shell of a state — pleasantly livable for people with capital (like me) because a few big private interests team up to “govern” our warm spaces enjoyably for customers who can pay. And a few cities, like mine (Lakeland), which is blessed with a money-belching socialist power utility, create a nice and warm urban experience.
But as a state, rather than a vacation destination, retirement home, or temporary crash pad for remote workers and tech bros, we are: extremely high cost, extremely low wage, extremely corrupt, high inflation, nation’s worst education “learning rate,” bad public service, high crime, low birth rate, high and spiking abortion rate, and very very old.
If America fully grasps that Florida Blueprint by 2024, I feel quite certain that we will repulse this absurd invasion-by-mafia. The referendum on Florida should not be a close run affair.
But our worst American billionaires and mouthiest showboating sheriffs like hollowed out states; and they far prefer mafias to unions or citizens mobilized politically around public good.
Florida is their model state for decadent capital cut free from any public oversight, public good, or sense of shared citizenship. And they will try to impose that Florida on everybody else by pretending that Florida is not Florida. Anti-civic capital is often dumb. But it’s heavily armed; and it has great sway — although not total away — over what the public is told.
Crushing Florida’s invasion — explicitly rejecting the failed “Florida Blueprint” at the national level — is crucial to any effort to reform Florida at home. The Florida Blueprint must culminate, in the military sense, as an expansive political force. That’s the sine qua non of Florida’s future.
And that requires revealing and relentlessly repeating the truth about life in Florida and the people who run it in a way that puts them on the defensive nationally.
How’s that going…?
The MAGA Pope thrashed the Tiny Emperor
Well, MAGA Pope Trump’s GOP smashed the tiny emperor’s irrationally cocky army of Pushaws and private jet jockeys as easily as Trump gropes unwilling women. (Sorry Trumpers, he is who he is. I can’t make your citizenship choices for you. But you will own them. Expect no moral mercy or understanding from me this time around.)
Trump’s formally adjudicated sexual abuse and Capitol Lynch Mob leadership aside, his defenestration of DeSantis is a useful first step. It’s good for Florida and America.
Even better, when America as a whole saw the “Florida Blueprint” personified by Gov. High Heels, America as a whole rejected Gov. Pudding Fingers thoroughly and humiliatingly, with the national contempt growing almost by the moment. Watching DeSantis in the polls has been like watching the Enron stock price circa October 2001 (go Google it, youngs).
Yes, in large part, that’s because he’s personally very weird and off-putting and cruel in the way that people who torture cats are weird and off-putting and cruel.
But it was also because Florida, as a model for America, got a thorough thrashing — including by Trump himself. Of all people, Florida Man Bonesaw Jesus himself attacked the Florida Model of “governing” a week or two after I published my piece.
He sounded just like me. LOL. I’d bet a lot of money his gross people read my stuff.
The GOP primary campaign ended that day, with the Trump campaign’s unanswered dismantling of Florida as an expansive idea. A loooooonnnnnng, slow humiliation ensued, tempered only by extensive luxury travel.
In some ways Trump is now running as the ultimate Florida man — full of gross indulgence and utterly devoid of any concern for the state where he lives. Only a Florida Man would have the chutzpah to run against Florida from Florida when the party he owns has been in power here for a generation.
Jennifer Canady: DeSantis adoration in the realm of Trump
After smashing Florida generally, Trump eventually attacked the DeSantis/Canady six-week forced birth law, specifically, as a “terrible thing.”
I have actual film of this entirely justified critique to share:
That’s a long way from this:
And this …
Look at her beam at him. LOL.
It’s faaarrrrrr cry from when she lied furtively and resentfully to everybody’s face in Lakeland when asked about 6-week forced birth as a candidate. See here.
Now check out this excerpt from a Peter Schorsch article in May about how Canady became speaker-designate:
If I were a social-climbing Trumper in Florida’s Royal Court, errr, Legislature, I would see an opportunity in this. High school (or middle school) level domination rituals are how these people “govern” and relate to one another.
If you want to signal there’s a new sheriff of the grifters in Tallahassee post Fall-of- Ron, Jennifer “Trump says 6-week forced birth is a terrible thing” Canady makes a juicy juicy target. A gross Matt Gaetz eyeing a run for governor, for instance, might find Canady a useful object lesson in extorting support in 2026.
I don’t spend any time talking to these terrible people, so I have no specific knowledge. This is just my rank speculation, based on characterological analysis.
But this new DeSantis-taunting screed from Peter Schorsch, who is the ultimate weathervane of where Florida’s gross political consultant bro class is blowing, makes a pretty dire signal for any DeSantis loyalist.
It is savage in tone and fact (f-bombs galore for instance) in a way that Schorsch would never dare if he thought it would be bad for business. The yearbook editor of degenerate high school is telling everybody the knives are out — and nobody fears a dictator made of pudding.
Jennifer Canady will suck up to Trump like all the rest in abject, humiliating submission. But I don’t think that’s enough to protect her. Again, people like Trump and DeSantis treat their most sycophantic subjects with far more degradation and contempt than a dignified enemy who does not attempt to game them or suck up to them.
Ya’ll might try to learn that one day.
And, oh yeah, I called it on the Zieglers months ago
Ok, I will admit that I did not have (possibly criminal) same sex pornography creation on my Ziegler bingo card when I wrote my “Wolverines” article.
But I did have “Proud Bridget” Ziegler as a thing to exploit for Florida “Wolverines” seeking to sabotage Florida invasion of America from behind enemy lines. Here’s the receipt:
Remember, that’s from March.
Scoreboard.
Not gonna be like 2016 and 2020
Anyway, ya’ll will generally share my mirth for now in laughing at DeSanctimonious. We can do that together. Trump gives you permission.
But then you’re all gonna try to convince yourselves it’s fine to line up behind a more senile version of the Zieglers writ large — the Capitol Lynch Mob leader with a terrible economic record, a jury-adjudicated sexual abuser, a criminal openly running on “retribution” and “dictatorship on Day 1,” who you all know would rape your wife and daughter and force them to have an abortion after getting rid of Roe v. Wade.
To do this, you will have to hate me enough to inflict a Capitol Lynch Mob dictator on me even though you don’t really hate me. To justify your pathologies, you must make monsters out of the rest of us who don’t share them. You have no other choice if you’re unwilling to look in the mirror and consider what you’re inflicting on your neighbors — yet again. You will need to find somebody to blame for your actions who isn’t you.
After doing this, you will then want to pretend nothing’s happened between us. LOL. You all know this; and yet you expect the rest of us to tolerate or excuse it with little or no moral consequence, which we generally did in 2016 and 2020, for the sake of living with you in the future.
Not this time. Not me.
Not with open J6 dictatorship on the line. I will not participate in your self-justifying monstering process, in any way. I will not debate my lack of monstrousness with you. But I will mercilessly turn your moral weakness against you this time in a way I did not in the past.
Ya’ll chose moral personal war, not us
I’m quite capable of feeling and expressing affection — and even love — for “friends” at war with me, while protecting myself and my family from those same friends. I don’t hold grudges. I gave that up as a young man.
And some of you, I suspect, like to imagine this less as moral war than a Seminoles and Gators football game, where it’s really just about team bragging rights — team Lib vs. whatever ya’ll call yourselves — and there are no real human stakes.
But somewhere deep down, even ya’ll know that’s not true anymore. So don’t try to sell me anything vapid about your “principles” or grievances or what-abouts, as if you genuinely believe you’re making some sort of case.
I’m not going to pretend anything to protect your feelings or insulate you from your moral choices, like I did in 2016 and 2020. Grow up and own the gross dictatorship you want. Don’t whine to me about it. You know what the truth is. Deal with; or don’t.
I’m ready for peace without submission anytime ya’ll are. But you’re not ready for it yet. After all, you’re lining up behind “retribution,” not “reconciliation.”
Only you can choose to change that.
All I can do for now is make your aggressive civil war painful; and I plan to, whether it mercifully ends in November or drags on forever because you can’t give it up. You’re already having much less fun than 2016 or 2020, arent’t you? Ask Saga Stevin and Austin Hurst and the Zieglers et. al. how much fund they’ve been having. I’ll even claim a tiny flake of DeSantis’ scalp.
Until you’re ready to seriously discuss a just peace, I’ll just say to you what I said to Pudding Fingers Ron back in March — because you, not Senile Bonesaw Jesus and his MAGAteers, is who matters to me:
Come out and play. The Wolverines are waiting for you.
I couldn't agree with you more! He isn't even trying to say he is innocent, just that he should be above the law.
As usual, I couldn't agree more. Here's what you fail to grasp due to a blindspot of two perhaps. Trump(i.e. Satan, but not DeSantis) has a plan to increase wages for working people. Cut illegal Immigration, discourage off-shoring, Bi-lateral rather than multi lateral commerce negotiations. Among some other items. AND IT WORKED. Median real wages rose 9% under Trump. Now they have fallen 5% under Biden due primarily to inflation and a deteriorating energy picture. It's back to business as usual in Washington DC. I'm with you 100% on the corrupt Republicans in state government. And I argue with these right wingers all the time about the social value of declining wages. They're all for it. They have this idea that a broke public is properity. Because somehow that enables the "job creators". It's preposterous. But, because you hate Trump's guts, you can't see that a Nationalist Populist program is good for the country. Sigh. Remember the good old days when Liberals were smart? Europe had airtight immigration standards because you CANNOT have a generous mildly redistributionist welfare state(which you and support), with UNTRAMMEDLLED immigration. European Liberals USED to know that.
