Grady Judd: Polk voters should "obviously" question Jill Sessions' "decision-making ability”
The flamboyant sheriff disapproves of school board candidates who hire a church-cheating convicted criminal -- who defrauded veterans and students with disabilities -- to run their campaigns. I agree.
Here’s what Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd — the unofficial leader of the Polk County Republican party — has to say about CCDF crank school board candidate Jill Sessions:
When asked if he would hire a campaign consultant convicted of felony fraud like Dunn, Sheriff Judd, who has run five successful campaigns, said “absolutely no, never ever, under any circumstance. It obviously is going to cause the voters to question the candidates’ decision-making ability.”
That’s from a great recent article about the campaign from Kim Moore of “Lakeland Now.”
The sheriff and I don’t always see the world in the same way. But on the question of CCDF crank Jill Sessions, the woman who hired a church-cheating criminal to define her campaign and her character, we agree 100 percent.
It is bad to have an unrepentant, church-cheating criminal run your campaign to get close to Polk’s kids.
I look forward to seeing the sheriff’s formal endorsement of outstanding, independent Polk School Board member Lisa Miller in November’s general election.
In the meantime, this is a very important piece of information for Republican voters to internalize. The sheriff does not trust Jill Sessions’ ability to make decisions about your kids because a criminal is running her campaign.
You shouldn’t either.
