The new High Point "Church" worship schedule has lots of politics, but no Jesus
Embattled Lake Wales Pastor Mayor Jack Hilligoss is too busy hyping/selling gross political events to shout out his supposed savior. Behold fake, corrupt Christianity embodied in one brief email.
Lake Wales Pastor Mayor Jack Hilligoss remains conspicuously silent about the fact that the citizens he denounced as “wicked” from the pulpit of his High Point church were 100 percent right about the sleazy city-funded business incubator his fellow High Point pastor runs.
Hilligoss hasn’t answered any of the questions I posed to him publicly about the arrest of the incubator’s CFO for massive theft. And he won’t.
Most likely, he’ll just whine to the congregants of his rogue “church” about how persecuted he is. I can hear him now:
Who among us hasn’t awarded a no-bid city contract to a pastor colleague that led to massive taxpayer theft which was reported to police months before Hilligoss and the pastor denounced the public for objecting to other sleazy stuff with the incubator? There but for the grace of God go all of us.
Let he who is without sleazy taxpayer-funded incubator cast the first stone.
Above all, fake Christian politicians are cowards who duck personal consequences — even more than they are con men who cheat the gullible.
MAGA church “worship” schedule: Patriot Academy, Comedy and Constitution, and the CCDF — but no Jesus
You can see both of those traits on display in the “New Summer Worship Schedule” email Hilligoss sent to his congregation on Friday morning. I posted the whole thing at the top. It’s your basic church schedule and admin email — except you will find not one reference to Jesus Christ. The part where Jesus and worship content would come in for a real church reads rather differently for Hilligoss and High Point:
This coming Monday, May 6, at 6:30 P.M., We are co-hosting an event with CDF featuring Alex Newman. This is a free event, but we are asking that you reserve a seat at this link: ccdfusapolkfl.ticketleap.com/polk-county-citizens-defending-freedom-meeting-with-alex-newman/
The first weekend of June HPC is hosting the "Comedy and Constitution" tour. On Saturday evening, June 1, Christian Comedian Brad Stine will take us through a night of laughs and learning. Then, Sunday morning, June 2, Rick Green from Patriot Academy will be speaking in both our morning worship services. This event is sponsored by HPC's "Salt and Light" group and you do need a ticket to attend the comedy event on Saturday-June 1.
You can purchase your tickets at this link: https://subsplash.com/highpointchurch-fl/lb/ev/+v2stpjv
LOL.
Pastor Mayor, it took less than three hours for this email to start coming to me, from multiple sources. Perhaps some of your flock are getting sick of you fleecing their tax money and their souls at the same time.
Signed up for a few tickets - for such luminaries as HP Lovecraft, Stephen King, Clive Barker, etc...
