It includes interviews with some journalists who were there interviewing members of the mob, who, according to their experience, absolutely believed and cared that the election was stole. The point may not be critical to your overall purpose -- it is really interesting how fervent and aggressive they were on the Capitol steps, but when there was nothing to push back on them they seemed pretty chill, like the dog that actually catches the car and then doesn't know what to do with it.
But if MAGA's usefulness is expired, it's primarily because it looks bad on TV when you take it to it's logical end, and Trump didn't have the self-control to pump the breaks before it got there. MAGA can, unfortunately, still be pretty useful to somebody with more foresight and discipline than Donald Trump
