In their zeal to get any small town cop to arrest your friendly librarian over "Beloved," the book cranks publicly accuse their sheriff of abetting criminality. LOL. They're not sending their best.
Some people have too much time on their hands, and with all the opportunity to do good things for your neighbors and community, this is what they choose? They think way too highly of themselves.
Where's the logic? If they believed the books were truly pornographic the opt in/opt out would be irrelevant. If they still believed that, then the books should not be in any school library, period! The fact that the CCDF is not pushing for complete and total removal, clearly means that they have abandoned their opinion that the books are indeed pornographic and are now just looking for publicity.
This is hilariously horrifying. Crank up the pressure until they slide back to their caves.
