Powerful people in state government want to force our people-owned utility to stop funding our quality of life in our city. They want to raise your taxes and push for privatization.

Can’t the weak Ledger get involved? That way they might be able to claim their relevance to our community.
Just a question: if the city doesn’t stand to gain any profit from Lakeland Electric, might that money be returned to consumers/citizens in the form of lower prices?
