Fake New College: make "Federal Grand Jury" Corcoran your overpaid permanent president
Corcoran's per dollar humiliation value for Ron DeSantis is unparalleled. Keep stepping on that rake, please.
As always, I am rooting for Richard Corcoran.
Nothing has ever discredited Richard Corcoran’s fake Christian dictatorship ideas like Richard Corcoran’s darkly hilarious grifting, administrative incompetence, and personal laziness.
As we already saw in Jefferson County, nobody — and I mean nobody — humiliates Ron DeSantis like Richard Corcoran. The mystery is why Casey DeSantis lets her husband keep walking into this rake.
And that was before anyone knew a federal grand jury had subpoenaed basically everything about the corrupt DoE/Jefferson bid process that Corcoran personally oversaw, according to witness testimony in the state’s sham investigation.
Make the Corc rate permanent; he may need it for lawyers
The grand jury news broke at a lousy time for Corcoran and DeSantis — which makes it a great time for us — and for general entertainment.
Corcoran, the interim president of the fake Christian dictatorship grift formerly known as “New College,” was just named one of three finalists for permanent president.
It’s unclear when the Fake New College (FNC) Board of Grifters (BoG) will make its choice. Here’s a little background:
According to Tuesday’s news release from New College, the search committee reviewed 63 applications and conducted eight interviews before landing on the three finalists.
“The committee was tasked with identifying candidates who could guide New College beyond its recent history of enrollment and economic challenges while restoring its reputation for providing a nationally-recognized liberal arts undergraduate education,” the news release said.
The finalists will be invited to undergo candidate forums with the campus community and interviews with the New College trustees.
The state university system’s Board of Governors will have to give final approval to the trustees’ selection for president.
Will the Board of Grifters at any level — or the “campus community” — ask Corcoran directly about his failure and corruption as Commissioner of Education? Will they ask him to explain what exactly went down with Ralph Arza, Trey Traviesa, Jacob Oliva and everybody else embroiled in the Jefferson debacle that Corcoran both pushed and oversaw?
Or will campus security Tase anybody who dares mention it?
Let Gov. Throat Slit keep slitting his own throat with Corcoran’s blade
One can make a compelling case that the grifter bust-out of New College — and Corcoran’s hilarious salary — marked the beginning of the DeSantis decline. (Trump’s public trashing of Florida helped, too.) As I wrote at the time:
Monday should have been a huge gloat day for Ron DeSantis and Chris Rufo — the completion of their mafia-style leadership “bust out” of New College.
Instead, they spent their big day silent while Grifter King Richard Corcoran made it rain with a $484,000 raise over the most recent New College president. That’s a total of $784,000 just to indoctrinate 670 students in the joys of alt-right grifting. Look at what Corcoran’s haul does to the relative per student cost of college president salaries in Florida. This is, I think, the funniest chart I’ve ever built. It tickles me.
If Polk County Schools Superintendent Fred Heid was paid “the Corc Rate” — $1,000 per student — he’d make $110 million per year. Really.
People have been non-stop laughing at DeSantis and Corcoran’s open crookedness for going on 24 hours now. An utterly humorless guy, DeSantis can’t take any laughter at his expense. And yet … he’s taking it about New College, without comment. His minions are, too.
That’s how you know whatever happened yesterday was not considered a success at DeSantis HQ. Like always, silent DeSantis speaks louder than bubble-protected trash talker DeSantis.
Do you hear that silence from Ron and Dick now, about essentially the entire grifter education industrial complex in Florida getting named in a grand jury subpoena?
It tells you all you need to now about the full, off-the-chart size of this rake. And it leaves DeSantis and Fake New College with a rather brutal choice:
They can dump Corcoran and acknowledge the vast scope of the DoE/Jefferson scandal, which gets worse the more people look at it.
Or they can make Corcoran permanent and pray he doesn’t spend all his time as leader of the Fake New College grift ignoring questions about his previous giant grift and drawing more attention to it that way.
Thought and prayers, fellas.
What makes this even better is that if you look at the other two finalists, they very much appear to be lightweights selected to make Corcoran the obviously best choice.
