Capitol Lynch Mob supporters love famous Sheriff Grady Judd and are the core of his political support. His meek public submission to them will define his place in history.
I vaguely remember you, or it may have been someone else, mentioning Grady acknowledging that law enforcement officers are more fearful of bad media attention - can you recall what I may have read?
Okay, I could not remember where I read it, but it was link with the high rate of law enforcement suicide. Have you thought about writing about the ALPR cameras, the shrouding secrecy behind them, and how their quiet implementation is in total hypocrisy to Judd's arguments against body cameras? I have been working on a piece, still going through and adding citations, but it is interesting to me that nobody else is writing about this. I could not possibly be the only person outside of law enforcement to know.
Where is part 2?
Ha. Good question. I ended up writing so much that I just dropped the series idea quietly. You caught me. Here's a good recent summary https://billytownsend.substack.com/p/how-fear-defines-mike-dunn-grady?s=w
And here is one that came before. https://billytownsend.substack.com/p/a-good-guy-with-a-gun-and-q-anon?s=w
That’s not something I’ve heard about. Where do you write?

I don’t really recall anything I wrote that I would characterize like that. But I did write this ... https://billytownsend.substack.com/p/for-everyones-sake-sheriff-judd-please?s=r which might hit some of same idea
I don’t remember a Grady quote like what you mention
