There is no chance the flamboyant MAGA-adjacent Polk County sheriff didn't know his fellow showboating sheriffs were going full public criminal/Capitol Lynch Mob love. Why didn't he join them?
As a retired police officer its surprises me everyday when I hear people in law enforcement especially officers as powerful as a sheriff endorse anyone.
From the start in the academy we were told to stay politically neutral.
We are to uphold the law for everyone regardless of political affiliation!!
